A late maturing apple tree, the Arkansas Black is an excellent choice for hunters. Typically fruiting between October and December, this variety tastes great, and is very resistant to Cedar Apple Rust. Arkansas Black will mature to about 20' in height and is self-fertile, but will produce heavier with a pollinator. Hardiness zone is 5-8. The tree has a high adaptability to various soils. A great hardy choice for any tree plot!
